A formal dyslexia assessment is done by a clinical or educational psychologist trained in learning disabilities, often working with a special educator. In India, government hospitals and NIMHANS, AIIMS, and many private centres offer testing. For CBSE / CISCE exam concessions, the assessment usually has to come from a recognised government hospital.
